Clairdee's genre-bending versatility has made her the perfect choice as opening act for a diverse roster of artists including David Sanborn, the Count Basie Orchestra, Etta James, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Johnny Mathis, and Dionne Warwick. Intelligent and articulate, Clairdee's skills as a first-rate interviewer impressed during her standing-room-only conversation with legendary vocalist Nancy Wilson at the 2008 Monterey Jazz Festival.
